How to check my audio settings

Modified on Wed, Jan 15, 2020 at 2:38 PM

Click on your initials in the upper left corner.  A pop-up will appear

Next click on "Settings" and it will take you to the Settings Center

Click on the Audio tab.

There are three settings we care about here.  Choose the dropdown option in each catagory.

1. Microphone: This should say "Headset Microphone" or "Logitech" (Different model laptops as well as different model headsets will cause this to vary but you should be able to pick the correct one for you).

This determines which microphone to use so the caller hears you.

2. Spekaers: This should say "Headset Earphone" or "Logitech" (Different model laptops as well as different model headsets will cause this to vary but you should be able to pick the correct one for you).  This is where you hear the call.

3.Incoming Call Ringing: This should say "Speakers Conexant ISST Audio" (Different model laptops will cause this to vary but you should be able to pick the correct one for you).

If you have any trouble selecting the correct one, or are just unsure and would like IT to assist you in making sure you know the correct values for you, please put in a helpdesk ticket and we will assist you as soon as possible.
